brochures
As graphic designer, I design various type of print media materials. Using standard graphic design applications such as Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe inDesign, Quark Xpress, I prepare you files so you can print your materials in any printshop you want. Working directly with printshops, I can supervise your print project. Contact me if you need help with any print design project!
work process:
When I start work on design project for any print product, I study content to determine what portions of the information have priority. For example if I work on tri-fold brochure, I recommend to place on front cover of the brochure, along with company logo, most important message for the potential client – tell your clients why they should open your brochure and see what's inside. After collecting content and client's preferences in terms of colors, fonts and type of the graphic, I create several layouts of the front and back covers of the brochure – parts that are visible without actually opening brochure. When cover is done the rest of the panels are designed to look consistent.
advice to clients:
Before start work on any print project it is a good idea to contact printshop where project will be printed. Specifications for the file preparation are slightly different in different printshops, so to save time it is helpful to have specs, template and file format requirements before start work on design. Also if you want to save money, you should consider standard size for the product: tri-fold – 8.5" x 11", business card 2" x 3.5", presentation folder 9" x 12" etc. Printshops always charge extra for non-standard sizes.
